Can't get it.
I am not a real Sql guru, but have been trying to replicate a database from a SQL box that is on a different domain. Seems like it should be easy enough from the Wizard but rather it is driving me around the bend.
I thought I had it as I can see the replication, I can connect to it, right at the last it tells me now that there is a error 14234: The specified "@server' is invalid(valid values are returned by sp_helpserver).
Can anyone out there assist?

Replication between the two domains in possible... as long as servers can connect to each other...
Is any of the server involved in replication registered as different name or aliased?
Replication creates the job...Are you experiencing the following...
BUG: SP_ADD_JOBSTEP Does Not Recognize Server Names Longer Than 30 Characters
