Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, but...
we have a swappable hard drive that needs to be replaced on our server. I need to know if the replacement drive has to be the same size (GB) or if a larger capacity drive can work.

You can use a larger drive but it will use the ecact size of the old drive to rebuild. the rest of the drive space is a waste.

And make sure that the drive is "compatible" with the controller you are using ... 😀

That will actually depend on the RAID controller. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer.
