I recently installed the Firefox add-on Read-It-Later, hoping that I could read on the subway or plane articles that I just didn't have time to read when I had some kind of internet connection. Much of the reading I hoped to be able to do offline were sqlservercentral articles. However it turns out that even if I am logged in when I bookmark the article and prepare it for offline viewing in Read-It-Later, a new login is required when I try to access it offline.
Is there some way to read the articles offline - such as when traveling, or otherwise away from an internet connection? I can't believe that I am the only one who has wanted to do something like this, but I haven't found any information on it searching the site. Am I missing something?

I use Microsoft's Internet Explorer - save the article / forum page in mht format to my thumbnail and when I have the time to read use IE to open the saved copy and read without a need to login. Works for me. Can you save in mht format using your browser?

That's interesting. I'd think that there would be no problem reading it offline. Maybe some JS we have. I'll give it a try and save some files.

Duh! I can't imagine why it did not occur to me to just save the page! Maybe I wanted the cool gadget thing. There are several save-as options in Firefox, though saving them individually like that doesn't give me a nice reading list with topic summaries, that can be checked off as you go through them.
