Re IP addressing the Server

    I re-addressed my Server and discontinued all dependencies but SQL Server software now starts to come up but hangs...

     

    Any Ideas ????

    You don't say if your readdressing was because of a domain change or not. If you changed domains, you should check the accounts that the SQL Server services start as, they might need to be changed.

    Did you change the IP on the server? SQL Server listens on startup for the ports and responds accordingly. It doesn't affect the server starting. Something else changed. Read the SQL Server error log and see what it says on startup.
