reinstall of vs2022 and core tools leaves me short of ssis output/input comps

Hi. You can see at https://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/topic/how-can-vs-see-ssis-under-my-regular-user-id-but-not-my-admin#post-4447386 a step by step approach i took to reinstalling vs 2022 and the ssis,ssrs and ssas data tools. The main question there is focused on different behaviors in different userids so im posting this one here so it can be focused on.
unfortunately i was left short of the always important ssis input and output components on my ssis tool download. Yitzhak seems to be assisting a developer who was missing almost ALL of the components (i got most of them) but he seems to be directing them to the same download link i used. so i suspect my problem is somewhat different. his answer is posted at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1341162/ssis-toolbox-missing-most-tools-that-should-be-ava and also shown in the image below.

ok, apparently they only show when in a dft. my bad.
