I can install Sql server 2000 successfully but i cound not open Enterprise Manager .

Can you provide what the error (if any is)? What is EM doing that you are not expecting?

Can you not open Enterprise Manager or is that you can not open your database in Enterprise Manager?
If you can't find your database in EM, it's because you probably didn't register it in EM. To register, expand until you see "SQL Server Group". Right click on that and select "New SQL Server registration".

Or could it be that the account you installed under doesn't have sufficient permissions.
