Hi There,
I have a question, Changing from a required child to optional child is easier than changing from an optional child to a required child.
is it true or false can any one explain why.

So you mean a foreign key constraint that allows nulls versus one that does not? Yes, changing to not allowing null values could be more difficult because you'll have to ensure you have data in all cases before you can modify the table.
