Probably an easy one, I have my assumptions on what the answer is but would like an definitive answer to the question.
Additional Duration vs Total Duration (Recent) in regressed query report.
Total Duration -- during the time snapshot this is the duration the query took across all executions.
Additional Duration? The average? I have no idea and don't want to assume.

It's basically the fact that the query is running longer, it has additional duration. It's explained in the documentation right here.
