Gail, believe it or not, that additional comment is required in the SAP interface.
A comment is required???? What kind of messed up program need specific comments to work?
In SAP, the comment actually defines the parameter for SAP while doing nothing for SQL. Like I said, I only know a smidgen about this, so I couldn't tell you why this works.
