    sp_readerrorlog uses the extended procedure xp_readerrorlog which allows parameters for start and end dates.

    EXEC xp_readerrorlog 0, 1, 'pegasus', '-', '2016-10-13', '2016-10-14'

    SELECT quote FROM brain WHERE original = 1
    0 rows returned
