Agreed...I have just had to go and check the CD myself....there it is in the books directory....and why BI for the category??

If you look at the properties for the shortcut of Books Online in your Program Group, you'll notice that if you've installed it into the default location, the shortcut points to:

C:\WINNT\hh.exe "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Books\SQL80.col"

The collection file doesn't exist on the CD. You will find some of the indvidual book files but what you know as Books Online isn't on the CD.

Really obscure question I realize :). I was running on empty on creativity yesterday. BTW, the category has been fixed.

Bah, I'm going to be cranky here 😉 Not just because I got the answer wrong, I swear.

The correct answer really shouldn't be "Another SQL Server 2000 machine" you're assuming a site has more than one sql server. Though it IS highly likely that a site would have more than one sql server, a better answer would have been microsoft.com

That's just my two bits.. Until I start submitting questions, I'll try to keep my gripes to myself 🙂

I think it is indicative of a poorly worded/minimally relevant question when only 12% of SQL Server professionals answer correctly. Unfortunately the choice that I would have selected if it had been available would be "Does this really matter?"
