ProhibitDTD - How do I set it to "False" in SSIS?

  • I've spent so many hours poring over Google search results, MSDN, BOL, Blogs, etc. etc. and all I need is:

To read a supplier's XML file that contains a DTD reference, I must tell MSXML6 that ProhibitDTD=False.

Nothing, but NOTHING, tells me how to do this without a Script HACK! There simply MUST be a way to do it as Microsoft fesses to the fact that they changed this property from a default of "True" to "False" when they introduced MSXML6!

I've seen this question go unanswered on MSDN and other forums - maybe WE will get lucky here 🙂

I have NO CHOICE but to handle the file with

<?xml version="1.0"?><!DOCTYPE SHOW_PICKLIST_006 SYSTEM "hk_036_show_picklist_006.dtd"> stuck at the top of the file, and a DTD that references about 6 other DTD files..., so please omit suggestions that entail "lose the DTD"...:exclamation:
