problems reading in a backup file

    it ways to me: warm-standby

    a warm standby database is readonly. alter database statement failed sp_dboption command failed error 5063

    and i have no clue what this is or what to do to resolve this error.

    i would greatly appreciate any help.

    Can you give a bit more detail on what you are trying to do and how the server is configured. Sounds like you set the database into standby.

    well i have made some changes in the database structure, which i did on the devel server and then i took a backup of the new db and then i tried to read that backup on the live server, and it causes this problem when reading back the file.
