Problem with the Installation of Reporting Services

  Hi,

  I need to install Reporting Services on one machine and the reporting databases on another. Both these machines have windows 2003.

  I created a domain account who has administrator rights on both machines.

  I also added this account to the sysadmin server role and database creator role  on the database server and db creator on the master database.

  I use this account to connect to the database server in the installation.

  But during the installation, I get the following error when it tries to create the reporting databases

  SQL Setup failed to connect to the Database service for server configuration. The error was: Login failed for user'(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. Refer to the Server error logs and setup logs for more detailed information.

  Can you tell me what else I need to do.

  Hi,

  You can use "Reporting Services Configuration" in "Configuration Tools" to configure where your database server is loccated.I hope it can help you.
