Problem with DTS packages in 2000 while migrating on sql erver2005.

  I have migrated My sql server2000 database to the sql server 2005,

  The database migration is successful, however the problem is with the DTS package which are created in the sql server2000,

  I am using the SQLServer2005_DTS tool to edit the packages,

  I am able to modify the scripts within the packages, but unable to modify the properties of the packages.

  For example :

  The global variables value i want to change if i made the changes in the values it allows me to save properly .

  However if i close that package and reopen the same package it is picking the old vales .

  Can any body help me on this.

  Have you downloaded and applied the DTS Designer Components from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=d09c1d60-a13c-4479-9b91-9e8b9d835cdc&displaylang=en which allow you to manipulate the packages and make changes?
