Problem with automatic updates for SP3

    I have XP on my laptop. There is an automatic update that keep failing and I have tried everything on these forums to help this update run but to no avail. Message I get at the end is:

    Automatic Updates

    Some Updates could not be installed

    The following updates were not installed:

    Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 3 (KB955706)

    Any help to get this update run would be greatly appreciated.

    Could you provide the error message? There are a few different issues with Express and SP3 not installing properly that I have come across.
