I get the following error dialog when tried to create sql reporting services
SQL Setup failed to execute a command for server configuration. The error was Database Report Server doesn't exist. check sysdatabases. Refer to the server error logs and setup logs for detailed error information.
IIS is on one server
SQL is on another server
checked authentication.
Visual studio .net 2003 installed
registered .net on IIS
Any ideas???? - URGENT

Try looking in the log files directory for SRS (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Reporting Services\LogFiles) or the C:\windows\sqlstp.log file if you are installing SQL for the first time.

Reporting Services has to be installed on the same machine as SQL Server or you have to install SQL Server )Standard or Enterprise) on the IIS Server to support RS.
