Has anyone figured out a way to get Excel to print on one page all the time? I had some success setting the printer properties to "Scale to Fit 8 1/2 X 11" prior to printing but my current spreadsheet is a whole 5 columns and the printer setting did not seem to help at all. I ended up with a spreadsheet covering 12 pages yet if I create a table in Word and type the data in I can fit it on one page. I can't imagine that there isn't a setting somewhere in Excel to print more than 20 rows on one page as a default.

I'm running Excel 2013.
When I go to Print I see a lot of settings. The bottom one is Scaling. There's various options of 'fit on one page'.

Marie nailed it. The "fit to page" really works well. You can also set your margins. If you're finding a lot of blank space on the printed spreadsheet, you might need to adjust your print area as well.
