Preventing virtual logon in SQL

  Hello everyone, I have a question about virtual logon, hopfully someone would be able to help.

  We have a database with a number of application ids which can also be virtually logged into if you know the password. We are trying to prevent this kind of virtual logon by users. Does anyone know if this is possible in SQL, as it is possible in the latest Oracle?

  Uhm, it might be me that is a bit slow today, but what exactly is a virtual logon? Is it an Oracle term?
