Poor Image Quality

    I have a Jpeg that is 300 dpi x 300 dpi. 

    I am using the image as a background image for a table.

    When I run the report, RS downsizes the image to 96x96 dpi, which results in a useless image.

    How can I remedy this situation?

    using SSRS 2k5 (sp1).

    SSRS is simply unable to perform proper scale down of your image. Resize your image to fit the resolution of the media you want to show your report on.
