PLS HELP - Export data to text file format

    Hi all,

     

    i would like to export all my tables in the database to the text files format

    with the name of columns of each table on the first row ...

    Is there any option in the BCP tool to do this ?

    PS: i know that i can do this in DTS ...

    yes you can export from a view when using ncp so basically you can order the fields in any way that suits you and can even 'stroke the data' via the view if required e.g. suppose your application expects fixed length data then you can use a view to accomplish this.

    sorry, what do u mean "export frm a view using nbp?"...
