If you want stable work for ever I would advise you to change to funeral service business. Even when "Great plague" comes you will not be left without work 😉

In the above respect, your question could be easily answered:

    1) What is Desgnations ( lower to high)

You may start from digging graves and end up as Supreme Funeral Director.

2)what is the work envornment? in the company?

Work is really nice, you will work outside on the fresh air, work with people, actually, mostly very quite and friendly people.

    2) What are the salary Packeges?

Negotiable. Town councils are likely to pay nuts for poor ones, however with a bit of creativity, you may get quite decent sums from rich (+ extras for selling haute couture clothing to them)...

    3) waht is the job openings? here and except india?

I guess, you will find a lot of opportunities, as people tend to die in numbers every day outside and within of India.

Why would really want to go from mainframe to SQL...

    :hehe::hehe::hehe:

By the way, I'm very unsure about "stable job forever".

There is only one thing that is constant in this world and that is change!

    I really liked your

My requirment is good packege and good carrer growth.

However, I would be a bit more specific:

I want 6,000,000$ anual salary + 100% pension contribution and CEO title in a job description.

    :w00t:

How to post your question to get the best and quick help[/url]

  • Sure, I'll help out.

First, there is no need to capitalize random words in sentences. I can't tell if it is for emphasis or not, but either way, it's not needed.

Second, when you make a list of four things, number them 1 through 4.

Lastly, there is this wonderful website called Google that can provide a lot of these answers.

I appologize in advance for the snarky response, but it seems to me you have put zero effort into finding out what is best for you.

  • I understand English may not be your first language, so I won't criticize any of those aspects of your post. I've tried learning a foreign language and know how difficult it is.

That said, my concern is that you don't express any real interest in being a DBA because you like the job, the skills it requires, and so on. You just want a "good career path". Frankly, if you don't like what the job entails, being a DBA could be considered boring by many people.

I personally love it, but then I've always wanted to be a DBA. I'm a DBA geek and proud of it!

But consider carefully trying to become a DBA just to make money or for job security. It's not that kind of job -- it requires lots and lots and lots of reading, and thus lots of interest, in the job itself.

  • I started my technical career working on mainframes and switched to a database support role. Since then I have worked in the data world as a DBA, SQL Developer and BI Developer. I really liked being a DBA (most of the time). I do BI because I love it.

There is certainly a better market for data professionals than for mainframe pros.

Here in Chicago, good DBAs tend to be paid well and enjoy above-average job security. This seems to be true all over the US. IMHO you have to love it if there is any chance of being good. The hours and politics can be brutal but, if you enjoy the work, its a fabulous job.

There is a market for Developers and BI people, look at those careers as well.

    Edit: typos.
