I have a relatively small database (500+ tables, 1500 objects total). When I go into the roles on this database, then click permissions it take 7-10minutes to return.
It there a setting I am over looking that is impacting the information being returned?
Or does someone have a script to select the permmissions by role?
Thanks,
Joseph

I keep the permission with the object create script. That way they are added when the object is created.
The first time you do this, it's tough, but once you get the objects set, you shouldn't have too many issues.

If you are going through Enterprise Manager, remember that it has to check each and every object for permissions with regards to that role. That's how it's able to display what permissions are visually. This can take quite a bit of time.
