    Thank you for the article, this was very interesting! I think there is a small, but important typo towards the end -- after the list, which shows the order in which events get fired (1 through 5) there is this sentence, which is missing "not":

    As our master package does not have the parent package variable configuration, the configuration event executes first in this package.

    Yes you are right. Its typo at the end.

    That sentence is missing "Not" and should have been like...

    "As our master package does not have the parent package variable configuration, the configuration event executes first in this package"
