Hello all. I need a way to have a footer on a report shows the page numbers by group. For example if a report comes out with 20 pages for 4 different groups i want the footer to show Page 1 of 5 for Group A then reset and show Page 1 of 5 for Group b and so on. These are just generic numbers he actual results will be different. I have found code which will reset the page by group by it doesn't reset the total pages. So it does page 1 of 20, then the next group resets and does page 1 of 20. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For your group that you want to reset the page numbers, Select the Group and then go to properties. One of the options under the Group Properties is PageBreak. Under PageBreak, you can set the ResetPageNumber field to True. Then you should be able to use the Page Number and total Pages built-in fields. BTW, these properties, I believe were available starting in SSRS 2008 (or maybe 2008R2)
