Package be stored as a VB file( .bas )

  Hi All,

  We have saved a DTS package created in SQL Server 2000 as a VB file( .bas ) and used it in our program. We have done our own customizations to this VB file and had all the source and destination servers as properties in this VB file. This way we were able to get these values in run time and modify the Execute SQL tasks easily through this VB file. Now, we need to migrate to Yukon. But it seems like Yukon doesn't support the VB file storage. Please correct me if am wrong. Please help.

  Correct. SSIS does not support storing a package as a VB file.
