  For reporting services the data is kept on reportserver.mdf and reportservertempdb.mdf.

  If the reportserver.mdf gets overwritten but we still have the reportservertempdb.mdf, can we still restore?

  A replication process overwrote our server's copy of reportserver.mdf.

  And there is not backup.

  Or is there no chance?

  you cannot restore reportserver.mdf using reportservertempdb.mdf, these are the data files from two different databases.

  without a backup you cannot get the database back.

  Best now to go through all your other databases and make sure they are being backed up.
