Hi friends,
We currently use osql utility to execute our scripts and stored procedures on sql server. Since this requires sql server management studio(for osql) installed on the app server, our clients are looking for an alternative to install some stand alone utility(without installing management studio) to run the stored procedures and scripts on the app server.
Is it possible to Install OSQL or SQLCMD separately as a stand alone without installing Management studio on the app server?
Appreciate your recommendations and thoughts on this.
