Opening SSRS report in Excel

  • Hello

I've noticed than when opening an SSRS report in Excel, its columns increase. Eg where in SSRS it would have 4 columns, once it gets opened in Excel, we now have two columns where there was just one in SSRS.

Does anyone know a way of stopping this happening? I have one or two teams who like to move the data into Excel for further analysis, and the multiple-column issue is a pain for them.

    Thanks

  • I'd added a company logo to the report: its position was affecting the way columns exported. Problem fixed.

  • It's caused by textboxes and images. Try to align the image/textbox with the table cells and graphs.
