  We've recently had a security audit, and one of the things that got flagged was MS12-060, which relates to some Office 2003 Web Components that, from looking online, seem to get installed along with Analysis Services.

  We need to either update it, or remove it.  The technet article about it (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/security/ms12-060.aspx) doesn't mention SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3, so it looks like there isn't an update for it.

  Is it possible to remove that component without breaking anything?  We don't use Analysis Services on that machine (when we installed the plan was to use it, but it never went into Production) so if necessary we can uninstall that as well.  Or does anyone know if there is an update available for it?
