ODBC Problem

    I can not add an system Dsn,I've previously put the out on this server. I can do the add but when it comes to putting in the Sever name in the dropdown on Create a new data source to SQL server the the wrong name appears in the Sever: dropdown. any help would be appericated, because I'm dead in the water!!!!!

    Just type the name in, you don't have to pick from the list. Not all servers "advertise" their presence. On the other hand, you may have a connectivity issue about to happen.
