Is it one table in particular? If so, there might be a corruption problem.

Does the servicepack level of em matches the service pack of the sql server?

Be aware that em has bugs when it comes to editing values, content (like truncating >1000 characters)

Hi...I didn't had that problem again...but as per my research this problem was due to some network issue at my office.....
