Okay, reading a book for the 70-444 exam and in the backup chapter of the text, it has this line:
Tip Make sure you use the COPY_ONLY option if you are planning to steal a copy of the database.
My first reaction was "It's gotta be a typo". My second reaction was "Is this a study guide or a book on data hacking?"
Then I fell over laughing. This is not exactly the sort of thing you want to see in your official "how to use" materials. :hehe: Or do you???

On the other hand, you really have to appreciate an author with a great sense of humor and a strong grasp of reality. Just got to the restore portion of the chapter and these are his instructions:
On the other hand, if your database has failed, you would do the following:
1) Panic.
2) Calm down, and think about what course of action is required.
3) Attempt to back up the orphaned transaction log (tail-log).
4) Perform an RCA of what has caused the database failure.
5) Address the problem determined by the RCA in step 4.
6) Locate the latest database backup.
.....
Well, at least he got step 1 right. @=)
