I have not receiving email notifications for the various threads on forum posts. There have been a number of replies I have posted, and no emails are getting sent for additional replies in the thread.
They are not going to my spam folder.

I've been noticing this too. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
I DO get notifications to new private messages, but not to replies to forum posts...
The above is all just my opinion on what you should do.
As with all advice you find on a random internet forum - you shouldn't blindly follow it. Always test on a test server to see if there is negative side effects before making changes to live!
I recommend you NEVER run "random code" you found online on any system you care about UNLESS you understand and can verify the code OR you don't care if the code trashes your system.

Me either, and of course, since I don't, I didn't see this. jeff emailed me and I forwarded as an issue. There is some suspicion that too many subscriptions (me, 8800, Jeff, 22k) is causing a problem, but I'm not sure.
Pushing on this.
