Hi All,
I need to practice MSBI( SSIS,SSAS, SSRS) and I want to install in my PC with the configuration of 64 bit, 4 GB RAM. Initially I have installed 2008 but was not able to install properly so I uninstalled everything.
Now I am planning to install the same with proper sequence. Can you please suggest me the sequence for me to intall the same so that I get the below working properly
SQL Server
SSIS
SSAS
SSRS
What all do i need to install after i have install SQL SERVER 2008.
Regards,
Hari

So what went wrong with the prior install? I've installed 2008, 2012 and even 2014 all on one machine before with no issues (obviously not a prod machine).
Your 4GB memory is possibly going to be a problem though, depending on what else you want to do on that machine.

Thank Steve for your reply
Before I installed 2008 which was fine...but after installation of visual studio I was not able to get SSAS ...when I opened ssas I used to get some dll issues...I was not able to open SSIS too...however my server and SSRS was working fine.

There is no fixed order in which you have to install anything. I usually install everything at the same time.
Need an answer? No, you need a question
