Hello,
I recently created a Slipstream drop of SQL 2008 R2 with SP2 using the following instructions...
All the instuctions worked fine, but when I try to install on my Windows 2008 R2 cluster, I get the following error...
Native SQL Install Boot Strapper Has Stopped Working
I cant get past this. Firstly, I followed these instructions even though I was actually using SQL Server 2008 R2, does anyone think it makes a difference?
UPDATE: Ditching the slipstream and using base R2 disk, it works.
Regards,
D.

We are experiencing same issue on Windows 8 machine, and I found a post which suggests installation of .NET Framework is the source issue, so please try following;
1.Access the Programs and Features option.
2.Access the Turn Windows Features On or Off function.
3.Enable all options within the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 option.
4.Click OK to apply updates.
5.Once updated, re-attempt install.
