Used for some testing, had no problems, but have not used them in full production. They are nice, but a niche feature to me.

Same here. No problems, but not used extensively. Mainly because of the $$ involved.

There are some reports of problems in these forums. Searched on "named instances"

Yeah, I've got them on a production cluster server without any problems.
