Hi everyone. Is it possible to notify more than one operator of the same job completion? The notifications of Job Properties drop down permits only one e-mail recipient per job.
Also, my supervisor wants a daily report of the health of our databases. Nothing elaborate, just a go no-go type of report generated from within the SQL engine. Any suggestions?
Thanks for everyone for being there to help.

Hello,
In case you haven't gotten a solution to this, you can configure and use the 'sqlmaint' utility as a nightly job. You can get more information on this from the SQL server books online.
Good luck.
Ooko.

Yes, that seems like a shortcoming not to be able to put multiple accounts in the job notification. You can put multiple addresses in the operator definition. I've created several different operators, and then put the appropriate one into the job notification. For critical jobs, my "DBA_Notification" operator has my work email, personal email and cell phone.
