Im trying to get general ideas about the best way to integrate MSN Messenger into a web page.
What im trying to accomplish is to have a Online / Offline Status button activated when MSN Messenger is loaded, notifying customers of my status, so they can then initiate contact, for more then one MSN Messenger as well, so identification of buttons (like James is online, Greg is offline) would be needed (a script larger than just one integration).

Very true, im trying to get my rusty skills of c++ and html back up from 6 years of disuse. Though this may not be the correct site, I thought it may be worth a try.
From what I've found searching around are only code basics / html pages to display your own contacts to your web site, this goes counter to what im trying to accomplish:
Customers accessing a website able to view which users are online at the company office. So, a script that detects when a user has loaded his messenger program, and activates the web site icon.
Any ideas?
