MSDE installation

    Hello, all. Does anyone know if it is possible to install a default instance of MSDE when a named instance exists? I know you can use the InstanceName parameter to install additional named instances, but I can't seem to make it work with variations of default, local, or even blank to install a default instance.

    Hi, folks. I found the answer to my question. Set InstanceName=MSSQLServer.
