MS SQL 2000 Server Performance Problem

    Hi,
    I need your help regarding the memory utilization problem in MS 
    SQL 2000 server. (Ent.Edition). 
     Initially the SQL Service is utilizing low memory. But the 
    Memory utilization is increasing drastically (up to GBs) and the server is 
    getting slow when the users (below 10) are accessing the database.
     Please give the procedure for increasing the performance of the SQL 
    Server 2000

    If you have dynamic memory set then the usage of memory will fluctuate. I'm concerned thta you say Gb's, if you are useing AWE then you must fix the min and max memory to be fixed and the same value - otherwise you will have problems.

    I'd search technet, there are a number of articles on performance tuning. There's also lots of articles on this web site, other than that your question is way too vague. You might also check out available instrauctor and on-line training courses.
