Hello All,
I'd like some expert advise on a project.
Here's the situation:
200 databases and a few logins and SP's on a SQL 7.0 server (not in Active Ditectory) need to be moved to a new SQL2K server thats in Active ditectory.
What's the best way to do this?
What do I need to watch out for?
Their are a number of options available to do this but I'm looking for one that can be used a few times (for testing) and then run once before going live.
Note:
Most of the 200 databases are small (less than 50K each).
Everything is currently on SQL 7.0.
The new SLQ2K server is a fresh install.
Thanks for your help!

Since the DBs are very small you can either use DTS or Backup/Restore and take care the users part.
Here is a good article on moving 7.0 to 2000
