Missing LSBackup Job in Logshipping configuration

  Hi,

  I've configured log shipping on a 2005 sql server. I follow the wizard's instructions (step-by-step) and everything works fine (success upon creation) except for the backup job that somehow is not created on the primary server. Secondary server contains copy, restore and Monitoring Server has the alert jobs.

  Error in the Alert job,

  'The log shipping primary database [primary server.database] has backup threshhold of 60 minutes and has not performed a backup log for 1653 minutes. Check agent log.....'

  Please help. Thanks.

  Does the job definately not exist? It does not exist in the agent?

  Is it possible that the job is there but the schedule is not set correctly?

  I guess you can always reconfigure log shipping again.
