Hi Friends,
Can we use Microsoft SSMA 6.0 to migrate DB2 version 8.1 database to SQL Server?
If not, could you please suggest some good alternatives?
Thanks.

I have done this with SSIS but we had a way to create an ODBC connection to the DB2 database.
Are you going to use SSMA as your virtual 3270 port and what is your connectivity to the DB2 environment?
You will need to create and test Transformations in SSIS to convert from the datatype in DB 2 to a data type for your SQL server database.
If you are not experienced in ETL and 3270 connectivity this will be a very large project.
