Migration from Access 2003 to SQL Server 2005

  • When i am using SSMA tool , in the access meta data i can see the table name but i dont see the

    columns with data .

The data tab shows the below message

"Unable to show data for not loaded table (cause : No columns were loaded.||Error occurred while loading indexes.

Could not read definitions; no read definitions permission for table or query 'Emp'.)."

    Can anybody help me out.

    Thanks

    Pri

  • Just to say I am stuck on the same problem. It is a pity no one has posted an answer. I think its something to do with the password/security settings. Did you find out any more after?

Could not read definitions; no read definitions permission for table or query 'Emp'

That is a classic "corrupted Access database" message, can you compact & repair the database & then try it again?

If it still fails after that, can you delete that table & then re-import the table from a backup?

Or, convert all the tables except that one, and then convert that one table from the backup.
