Hello,
for my client i have to do regular refreshes of production to dev.
We have been automating this in the belief the full DB has to be refreshed but now we are asked to keep certain schemas from dev when refreshing. These schemas have together around 25 temporal Tables which i have written about here:
Atm i only have a way to do this manually which means writing alot of T-SQL code + these objects are subjected to change between every refresh run. this means re-writing this code and this contains ALOT of (boring)work. So...
Anybody got any tools for this? Any way to script out these kind of tables for a migration between DB's. (taking into account the things i mentioned in my blog)
Thanks for reading and maybe answering :p
