Merge Replication - what is replicated on change to a single column of one row

    Hello

    I can't seem to find out what is actually replicated in a merge replication scenario if a user changes just one field (one column of one row).

    Is the entire row sent or just the column?

    Where is this documented?

    Can anyone comment on this?

    Sybase ASA replication seems to do columns or transaction level by default, MS merge default seems to be row level. I can't find any suitable option in the MS SQL settings to change this to a lower level.
