Member was not found in the cube when the string

    Hey, I've not done a cube for many years but I find myself supporting a colleague troubleshoot why his Cube "Timesheet" isn't processing.

    The error I'm getting is:

    The '[2025-11-11 09:00:00]' member was not found in the cube when the string, [Instruction Date].[By Calendar].[Date].[2025-11-11 09:00:00], was parsed.

    On the face of it I expected the Dimension to be missing [2025-11-11 09:00:00] but it's there and the Dimension processes successfully.

    A few other nuances:

    • This is a Test environment and the Production environment is fine.
    • The Warehouse it's based upon has just been replaced by a more recent copy.
    • The error this morning (2025-11-12) complains about 2025-11-11 being missing, but yesterday it complained that the 2025-11-10 being missing, it's always the previous day.

      There is a Dimension based on a Fact table then calculates the Previous Day but that's not related to this Cube AND if I try to process the PreviousDay Cube it fails on the same Dimension that the "Timesheet" Cube is failing on with the same message.

    As I say, it's been a while, so if I've neglected to supply more information to make this easier to understand then please feel free to ask.  Any pointers are gratefully received.

    Hey, I've not done a Cube for many years but a colleague of mine has requested some help.

    We're processing a Cube called "Timesheet" and it's failing with the following message:

    The '[2025-11-11 09:00:00]' member was not found in the cube when the string, [Instruction Date].[By Calendar].[Date].[2025-11-11 09:00:00], was parsed.

    On the face of it I expected the member to be missing from the Date dimension but it is there and the dimension processed successfully.

    A few nuances:

    • This is a Test environment and the Production environment works fine.
    • The database used as the warehouse has just been replaced.
    • When I processed the Timesheet Cube today (12th November) the missing member was the 11th November, but yesterday the missing member was the 10th, it's always the previous day.
    • There is a Previous Day dimension based on a Fact table, but it's not used in the Timesheet cube.
    • All the cubes in the project fail with this same issue.

    If there are more details that I could provide to help address this issue then please let me know and I'll add them to the Topic.
