manipulating databases

    Is it possible to manipulate a table in another database such as MSAccess without importing the data into sql Server. I want to use a stored procedure to manipulate the data in that table and have to store that table in sql server but leave it in access

    Maybe you can setup linked table in Access to SQL Server table. Or setup linked server to Access Database in SQL Server. Not quite understand your question.
