Managed Identity with on SQL 2019?

  Hi all,

  I wondered if someone could help me clarify something, I know Azure Managed Identities can be used with SQL Azure DB's but does anyone know if we can use them in either a SQL 2019 or SQL 2022 server thats running in Azure on a VM?
